Web Developer (Django)The Web Developer (Django) is responsible for creating products and experiences that present Crossway content to the marketplace with truth, beauty, and excellence. This role will be primarily focused on web application development. Remote candidates are acceptable, though preference will be given to those who can meet periodically in Wheaton, IL.The Web Developer (Django) will meet on a regular basis with the Director of Web Development for the purpose of collaboration, reviewing progress, and evaluating results, and will be prepared to provide updates on the status of assigned responsibilities.Specific responsibilities include:Development of existing and future web products and experiencesRelated services and API developmentWeb infrastructure maintenanceOther duties as assignedPosition requirements include:Proficiency in web application development, including Python, Django, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and GitPassion for excellence and attention to detailOrganized, self-motivated, and good interpersonal skillsCommitment to the Crossway publishing ministry and vision is required, as summarized in the following statement of purpose: By God's grace: (a) to bring men, women, and children to Christ as their Lord and Savior; (b) to help individual Christians and the church grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible and the Christian life; (c) to bear witness to God's Truth, Beauty, and Righteousness, and the Lordship of Christ in every area of life; and (d) to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every way.Personal qualities include:A love for God's Word and His church.
