Physician: Palliative Care Opportunities - Northwestern Health Network Medical Group Full-time Salary Range Minimum : $260,000.00 Salary Range Maximum: $300,000.00 Compensation: USD 260,000 - USD 300,000 - yearly Northwestern Medicine is a growing, nationally recognized health system that provides world-class care at 11 hospitals and more than 200 locations in communities throughout Chicago, the suburbs and northern Illinois. Northwestern Medicine is expanding its Palliative Care program across health network locations throughout the Chicago suburbs. We are seeking compassionate, innovative physicians to be part of this ambitious initiative to expand what is already the premier Palliative Medicine program in Chicagoland. Qualifications Fellowship trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine Responsibilities A mix of inpatient and outpatient care Symptom management Develop and facilitate goals of care in the inpatient and outpatient setting Participate in process improvement and program development Program Highlights Dedicated Palliative Medicine APPs Additional support from social work, dedicated nursing, pastoral care System wide EMR (EPIC) Opportunities for program building and leadership Opportunities to participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, research and clinical trials Robust collaboration with the academic Palliative Medicine department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital A system culture that puts the patient first in everything we do Program commitment to promoting the well-being of all team members BE/BC Northwestern Medicine is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation or any other protected status.
